A tourist in Kos alleged she was raped by two foreigners

The two foreigners were arrested

Newsroom September 6 01:02

Another case of sexual abuse is being carefully examined by the Greek police and the judicial authorities in Kos, after a relevant complaint was submitted by a young foreign tourist who alleged she was the victim of rape by two other foreigners, on Sunday night.

According to what the 27-year-old tourist vacationing on the island claimed, she met a 22-year-old foreigner in a bar where they were having fun and agreed to follow him outside. He led her to a secluded spot, where a 23-year-old compatriot of his appeared and forced her to have sex despite her objections.

The two alleged perpetrators were arrested by police a few hours after the tourist’s complaint and were brought to the prosecutor of Kos accused of rape. However, the case file remains open until the 27-year-old foreigner is examined by a doctor.
