This year’s presentation of Manos Hadjidakis musical works begins at the Herodium Odeon.

The artistic performances sighs his son George Hatzidakis, who all these years cares of the work of the composer by performing hundreds of concerts and reissues of his works and unreleased musical material. The aim is to redefine the composers projects of his official records and to meet a number of unpublished works.

The beginning will be made with two concerts at the Herodium on the 24th and 25th of September. In the first part will be played for the first time the unpublished sound track of the film G.Ferrara “Faccia di spia” by the National Symphony Orchestra NERIT and the Musical team Hadjidakis with conductor Louka Karytino.

The second part of the concert includes a selection of the best songs that the composer gave to the cinema world.

Ellie Paspala and Vassilikos will be singing.

All these years that we lack the composers physical presence, his key position in the social issues of the country, his boundless humor, his responsible youthfulness and caustic courageous view, his music fills us and moves us more and more.

While attending concerts with his works is easy to observe the new youth groups to follow him and becomes obvious that what this superb personality has left behind is admired and appreciated.
