A Trip to the Greek Market (Video)

In his video entitled “The Agora & the Ecstasy”, David Rosengarten visits the big downtown market in Athens

“Whenever Greeks meet in public, a party-like atmosphere ensues,” writes David Rosengarten, an American chef, author and television personality in his post at the Huffington Post blog and he couldn’t be more right!

As he mentions, he has witnessed this at hundreds of open-air dining tables… and, also, at Greece’s great markets. In the video, we can see him visiting the big downtown market in Athens, “one of his faves” as he describes it: “Early-morning bustle reminiscent of the old Les Halles in Paris… plus coffee and eating and drinking!”
