On Saturday, June 17, Iron Mike Michalis Zambidis, the most successful martial artist in Greece, and his partner Maria Karolina Dassiou tied the knot. After their wedding, they also baptised their twin daughters.
The two sacraments took place in the Holy Church of Agios Constantine and Helen in Glyfada, followed by a party for the guests in a nearby area.
During the party, Michalis Zambidis and his wife were in the centre of the floor to dance the first dance, with the boxer “giving” a delightful moment to his guests.
He acted like he was in the ring for a few seconds and started throwing some punches in the air to the sounds of ‘Eye Of The Tiger’. A little further on stood his wife with their daughters.
The relationship between Michalis Zambidis and Maria Karolina Dassiu has its starting point in 2019, with their first public appearance taking place in September of the same year when they appeared together at the Vrachon Theatre to watch a theatrical performance. In May 2022, the couple welcomed their twin daughters.
