Following her meeting with the Minister of Culture Mr. Costas Tasoulas, famous human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin-Clooney visited Varoulko restaurant to taste the amazing dishes prepared by famous Greek chef Lefteris Lazarou.
Ms. Alamuddin arrived yesterday in Greece, accompanied by two British lawyers, to provide the Greek government with legal advice on its efforts for the return of the Parthenon Marbles. At the restaurant she was accompanied by the Culture Minister Costas Tasoulas and Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni.
The beautiful barrister, following the chef’s recommendations, tried a variety of dishes, including sea urchin salad, sea bass carpaccio, crispy red mullet on smoked eggplant mousse and John Dory served on celery mousse.
Ms. Clooney reportedly chose to drink red wine, and the staff of the restaurant even gave her a small presentation on Greek olive oil.
Varoulko restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful places, the Mikrolimano marina, in front of the sea, offering its visitors an elegant atmosphere and an outstanding view.
