Yemen seems to be in a political dead-end after the country’s president and the Prime Minister’s government quite two weeks ago.
The al-Qaeda branch of Jama’at Ansar al-Shari’a announced that its members killed a Shiite Houthi member in Ib. Local officials verified the death without providing more information.
On Saturday, al-Shari’a members killed soldiers and injured two more, according to the organization’s Twitter account.
Officials in the area of the clashes between the rebels and the army stated that 3 members of al-Shari’a also lost their lives. On its part, al-Shari’a retorted by publicizing that they killed a Yemeni Army Officer on Friday and 3 more Houthi Shiites.
