Music, fun, rhythm and a festive mood in the center of Athens, in Syntagma Square.

With a traditional boat decoration and the stage being prepared, the city is quickly turning festive.

The Athenians, since early this morning, seized the opportunity and went for a walk and coffee in the city center,  while Ermou street seems to be favoured as many walk along the most commercial street in Athens to window shop and get ready for the holidays.

Today, the hours of operation of shops has been changed for the holidays, with shops remaining open on the 14th and 21st of December.
