The Athens Traders Association suggests that shopowners/traders operate their stores from 12 at noon until 6 p.m on Sunday, since on the day, the 3rd Half Marathon of Athens is being hosted from 8 a.m. in the morning.

The association believes that the success of the event will assist in highlighting the city’s image and market.

Friday, May 2nd, 2014, is the first day of the interim discount period which will end on Saturday May 10th.

It should be noted that according to Article 16, paragraph 1 of Law N.4177/2013 allows the operation of shops on the first Sunday of a discounts period, i.e. on May 4th.
