Equity prices dropped on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday with the basic share price index down 2.01% at 786.01 points at 11.00 a.m. and a turnover at 4.85 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 2.15% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index decreased by 0.73%.

All individual sector indices were moving downwards with the biggest losses being in Commerce (-5.33%), Food & Beverages (-2.17%) and Raw Materials (-1.43%).

11 stocks increased, 35 went down and 10 remained unchanged.
