Equity prices dropped on the Athens Stock Exchange on Friday with the basic share price index down 2.33% standing at 1,065.36 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 14.615 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 2.37 present, while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 1.42%.

Only Chemicals went up by 0.68% whereas other individual sector indices dropped. The heaviest losses were noted in Banks (-3.32%), Technology (-2.72%) and Financial Services (-1.86 %).
