Equity prices were rising on the Athens Stock Exchange on Tuesday with the basic share price index up 1.27%, standing at 1,078.84 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 6.87 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks went up 1.11%, while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index went up 1.30%.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were recorded in Banks (+2.25%), Health (+%) and Raw Materials (+0.96%), while the biggest losses were recorded in Travel & Leisure (-0.70%) and Telecoms (-0.30%).

42 of the stocks traded went up, 5 went down and 13 remained unchanged.
