Google teamed up the Athens Municipality and the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism to create a virtual audio walk through the Museums of the Greek capital.

Called “Athens. The City is the Museum”, the project welcomes its virtual visitors to Athens – a living, breathing city, home to many of the world’s finest museums alongside the best of what contemporary culture has to offer.

The new initiative invites visitors to explore the city’s unique and undiscovered gems including the street art scene, diverse food experiences, music, modern architecture, and lesser-known neighbourhoods.
