Attack on the Zelensky’s convoy: ERT journalist & Ukrainian journalist describe the attack

The Ukrainian journalist describes how the Russians launched a missile "at the moment when President Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis could have been there"

Newsroom March 6 04:56

ERT journalist Georgia Skitzi, who is on the scene, described the moments she experienced when a Russian missile struck near the Greek mission with Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

“We suddenly heard the sirens sounding; we were informed that there was a missile strike, followed by countermeasures. Unfortunately, there are three dead,” she said.

The journalist was covering the Prime Minister’s visit to Ukraine to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky.

The meeting took place at the port of Odessa. Mr. Mitsotakis visited the Philiki Etaireia Museum.

A Ukrainian journalist also described the ballistic missile attack in Odessa, before his meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

As he says, there was an air-raid alarm in effect for the Odessa area, while Russian drone attacks had occurred the previous night.

“It was at that moment when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis could have been in Odessa. Greek reports mentioned a visit by the Greek Prime Minister to Odessa. Thus, it can be assumed that the Russians attempted to target the President of Ukraine and the leader of one of the states of the European Union and NATO”, he says.
