Bolshoi Ballet at the Athens Concert Hall

The screening is part of the Athens Concert Hall cooperation with the historical Russian theater and Pathé Live

The Bolshoi Ballet Live from Moscow “Jewels” will be screened on November 8, at the Athens Concert Hall.

Many famous Russian dancers participate in the performance in choreography of George Balanchine and music of Gabriel Fauré, Igor Stravinsky and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Among the talented dancers are Olga Smirnova, Semyon Chudin, Vladislav Lantratov, Anna Tikhomirova and Ekaterina Krysanova.

This performance was inspired by Balanchine’s visit to the famous jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels on New York’s Fifth Avenue, celebrating the cities and dance schools of Paris, New York and St. Petersburg, each bound to its own precious stone.

The screening is part of the Athens Concert Hall cooperation with the historical Russian theater and Pathé Live, which since 2009 has covered and distributed live performances of the Bolshoi in more than 1,200 cinemas in 50 countries worldwide.
