(UPD) An older lady and a acyclist were shot dead, Friday in Ansbach, north Bavaria by a man whose identity has not been released by German police authorities. The suspect also shot a pedestrian from his car and the driver of another vehicle, bt neither were hit, say police.

Local media reported on Friday that an armed man killed at least two peole in Ansbach, north Bavaria. Radio 8 radio station reported on Facebook that the unknown gunman killed an older woman from inside a car and reports that unfolded alleged he had also killed cyclists. Bild’s reports pointed to the death of a motorist and a farmer.

Police sought a silver Mercedes convertible with the registration AN-W-129 in which the gunman was believed to have fleed. The 18-year-old gunman was later arrested.

Reasons for the shooting remain unclear.
