Christmas concert to be held at the National Archaeological Museum

The concert is free of charge for visitors to the museum.

The National Archaeological Museum will host a “Christmas Concert” featuring the string quartet Arco dell’Arte, starting at noon on December 24.

“Celebrating the spirit of Christmas the National Archaeological Museum invites the public and musicians into the Altar Hall for an encounter between the ancient masterpieces of Art and music. We extend our warmest thanks to the artists for their participation,” said Dr. Maria Lagogianni, Director of the National Archaeological Museum.

The string quartet Arco dell’Arte will present three of the most beautiful baroque era concerts written for the Night of Christmas. Mezzo soprano Marisia Papalexiou will sing four arias from the “Christmas Oratorio” by J.S. Bach.
