Greek PM Alexis Tsipras received a warm reception at an event at the Clinton Global Initiative in NYC on Sunday, with Bill Clinton himself next to the Greek leader on stage, as a moderator.
The former US president had praise for Tsipras and repeatedly referred to investments in the recession- and election-plagued country. The Greek premier was introduced by Gianna Angelopoulou-Daskalaki, who headed up the Athens 2004 organizing committee.
