Comedian Bob Saget dead at 65

He was found in a room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando

Comedian and actor Bob Saget, who notably starred as the patriarch on ABC’s Full House, has died at 65.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call Sunday regarding “an unresponsive man” in a room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando and identified the man as Bob Saget.

Onsite detectives noted there were no signs of foul play or drug use was present. Saget’s cause of death has not been released.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family wrote in a statement. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”

“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world,” the family continued.
