A man went on a rampage, attacking his friend with a knife in Lasithi, Crete. According to news report from cretapost the incident happened last night when the 42-year-old man who is said to have serious mental health issues, visited his 35-year-old friend at his house in the village near Agios Nikolaos.

Unexpectedly and for no apparent reason, the 42-year-old grabbed a kitchen knife and began attacking and stabbing his friend in various parts of his body. He then disposed of the knife and left the house.

An ambulance from EKAB arrived at the scene of the unfortunate 35-year-old and rushed him to the hospital in Agios Nikolaos. Doctors found that he had various knife wounds to his head, neck, and face, The 35-year-old is in stable condition and out of immediate danger.

Police officers have arrested the 42-year-old and also have located the knife.
