A Democratic candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates received massive backlash for performing sex acts with her husband online, and asking her virtual audience to pitch in with “tips.” Susanna Gibson is a mom of two children and is running to represent District 57 in Richmond. She live-streamed her sex videos on the adult streaming website Chaturbate.
Susanna, a nurse practitioner, 40, was seen in over a dozen live videos with her husband on the platform. These were reportedly posted to a publicly accessible archive on the website Recurbate in September 2022 after she declared her candidacy. Even after the announcement, she continued to maintain her Chaturbate profile. She uploaded at least one photo of herself on the site after the announcement, the New York Post reported.
The 40-year-old Democratic Party candidate even allegedly told users that she would perform certain sex acts in a “private room” if users put their hands deeper in their pockets.

In defence of herself, Susan said the newspaper’s revelations were an “invasion of her privacy intended to humiliate her and her family.”
“I will not be intimidated or silenced by anyone,” she clarified. “My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven that they are even willing to commit a crime to attack me and my family because there is no limit to silencing women’s voices,” Gibson added.
Her lawyer, Daniel P. Watkins, argued that the dissemination of the videos could be a violation of the revenge pornography law, which is a misdemeanor.
“We are working closely with state and federal law enforcement authorities,” Watkins said.
Gibson is set to face her opponent, David Owen, in the Nov. 7 election.
