Dimitris Pantermalis: The chairman of the board of the Acropolis Museum has died

“His great work, his life’s vision, was the Acropolis Museum”

 

The death at the age of 82 of Dimitris Pandermalis, the chairman of the board of directors of the Acropolis Museum, was announced on Wednesday morning (14/09) by the Ministry of Culture.

According to information, the Archeology professor at AUTH died at his home.

As the Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, mentions in her statement, about Dimitris Pandermalis “however, his great work, his life’s vision, was the Acropolis Museum, which he served from the very beginning, with all his strength”.
