Earthquake 4,6 Richter in Rhodes

The epicentre is located 16 km east-north-east of Rhodes

A strong earthquake of 4.6 magnitude occurred early this morning in Rhodes.

The epicentre is located 16 kilometres east-north-east of Rhodes and the focal depth at 45.8 kilometres.

Professor of Geology, Efthimios Lekkas, speaking on ERT television, appeared reassuring about the earthquake, saying that it is most likely to be the main earthquake.
