Eleven seconds with the enchanting beauty of snowy Florina in Macedonia, northern Greece is definitely not enough for nature lovers. They are, however, able to showcase how the snow paints the incredible Florina landscape in winter, creating a visual masterpiece.
Travel photographer Stefanos Antimando – originally from Serifos, Karpenisi, and Milan – posted via his personal Instagram account (@stef_greece) a short video that in 24 hours has managed to amass hundreds of thousands of views, traveling around the globe. He said characteristically speaking to Travel.gr: “I am a travel photographer. I started working professionally in photography ten years ago and I have been doing it professionally for the last five years. I shot the video three days ago, right after the bad weather system “Diomidis” that had come the previous days. It is on the road from Florina to the ski resort of Vigla in Pisoderi in the morning. It was not crowded. It was very beautiful. They had cleared the road, as usual, there because the area has a lot of snow. These conditions prevail there every year, many times every winter. There was simply no one to record the landscape. It helps that I have a big channel, so the information is spread more easily “.
