EPP Chief Manfred Weber meets with Greek officials

The European People’s Party Chief Manfred Weber met with the Greek PM and other officials and wants to help showcase Greece’s efforts to get back on track

European People’s Party (EPP) parliamentary leader Manfred Weber met with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, Finance Minister Gikas Hardoubelis and Development Ministery Nikos Dendias. Follwoing these meetings he also met with the secretary of the Political Committee of senior coalition government partner New Democracy (ND) party Andreas Papamimikos in Athens on Tuesday, at a meeting attended by European MPs of the party.

The two men discussed European issues, with Weber underlying efforts to improve Greece’s image abroad and showcasing the efforts that the country has made to get back on track.
