Greek students invent convertible shoe

Women will no longer have the dilemma of whether to wear heels or flats!

Students at Democritus University of Thrace created convertible high-heel shoes that finally solve women’s dilemma of whether to wear flats or heels.

“This product is aimed at making women feel comfortable and elegant,” said Loukas Karakikes, one of the young inventors of the new shoes that include a special mechanism that can turn the high heel into a flat shoe and vice versa. The idea came to the young team after looking at the market and women’s daily routines and noticed that women’s lives are very busy. “They go to work, they go out for coffee, drinks and entertainment and this requires different outfits and, specifically, different shoes.”

The students are already trying to market their invention and have created SkyWalker, a new company focused on convertible shoes.
