EU member states’ ambassadors to visit Lesvos

They will be informed on the conditions at the reception and registration centers of refugees and migrants

The European Union state members ambassadors to Greece will visit Greek island of Lesvos on Tuesday in order to be informed on the conditions at the reception and registration centers of refugees and migrants in Mytilene.

Alternate Foreign Minister responsible for Foreign Issues Nikos Xydakis, Alternate Migration Policy Minister Yiannis Mouzalas and a delegation of Greek officials will accompany the ambassadors and their associates.

During their visit to Lesvos, the EU ambassadors will visit the camp at Kara Tepe and the identifications center at Moria as well as the reception centers at Sykamnia.

They will also meet with officials of the local administration.
