EU wants to train 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers in Europe

Ukrainian soldiers will initially be trained in Germany, Poland, and other EU countries

The foreign ministers of the EU member-states decided today to start training Ukrainian soldiers. As reported by the German newspaper “Bild”, in the first phase, about 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers will initially be trained in Germany, Poland, and other EU countries.

Brussels wants to help the Ukrainian troops so that they can defend themselves even better amid hostilities with the Russians. The decision to start the training mission was taken today, at a meeting of foreign ministers in Brussels, diplomats confirmed to the German Agency. Tomorrow was set as the start date of the military training mission.
