A 50-year-old electrician was killed on Monday in an industrial accident aboard a docked vessel west of the port of Piraeus after an explosion and fire swept across its deck.
The vessel was identified as the ferryboat High Speed 5. The vessel was docked for repairs off the Keratsini industrial maritime zone. The victim, whose body was charred beyond recognition, was identified only a member of the crew.
