Foreign suppliers require payment in full

Back in 20111 the deficit of trust in the Greek economy was such that foreign suppliers refused letters of credit of Greek banks

Dejavu for Greek importers and exporters since the past few days, according to them  trading partners from abroad seek more security.

Many  dealers in Greece complain that foreign suppliers request payment in full  for any orders of goods.

Speaking at the “Daily” the president of the Association of Commercial Agents and Distributors Athens (SEADA) Mr. John Papageorgakis stressed that prepayment of the entire Order now require suppliers from Italy, Germany, Belgium, Denmark.

Suppliers receive more letters of Greek banks, but, as he points out, it is known that there is limited funding of Greek credit institutions to trade.
