Former PM Karamanlis says ‘yes’ to referendum question

Former Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis threw his weight behind the pro-yes — and pro-Europe — campaign in a live TV address to the Greek people on Thursday. He stressed that those who believe that a ‘no’ vote would strengthen the bargaining position of the Greek government are mistaken. He made it clear that Greece’s position is in the heart of Europe.
