He complained of acute abdominal pain

An 11-year-old German was transferred by a Hellenic Air Force helicopter due to health issues at noon on Thursday.

The boy complained of acute abdominal pain and he was airlifted from the cruise ship “Amadea” to Kalamata air base, where he was picked up by an ambulance and taken to the local hospital.

The boy was taken off the cruise ship, which was travelling 65 nautical miles east of Kalamata at that time.
