German Minister says Greece should take back refugees from Germany

Greece failed to do its job on EU borders, he says

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere accused Greece of failing to efficiently register refugees and migrants on the external borders of the EU, which resulted in countries like Hungary being forced to erect walls to prevent the flow of people entering their countries. In an interview to the Sunday edition of newspaper Welt, the German politician said that Europe had done a lot to improve the situation in Greece. “This must have some repercussions and result in the ability to send refugees back to Greece, in accordance to the Dublin 2 Treaty’, Maiziere said.
