Germany agrees to replace Greece military vehicles, to be sent to Ukraine, with German ones

The agreement is similar to the one between Germany and the Czech Republic

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that he had agreed with the Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis to replace Soviet-made amphibious armored combat vehicles (TOMA) BMP-1 in the Greek army which would be sent to Ukraine, and replace them with more modern German armament systems.

The agreement, the details of which are expected to be hammered out between the two nations’ Defence Ministries,  is similar to that of Germany with the Czech Republic.

The planned German-Greek tank agreement aims to help Ukraine in the way a recent German-Czech agreement does (ie, Germany sends tanks to the Czech Republic so that it can release its own tanks to send them to Ukraine), as he stated.
