Greece: A 14-year-old student attempted to enter the Parliament with a knife

He has been arrested

A 14-year-old student was arrested when, upon entering the Hellenic Parliament, he was found to have a knife on him.

The incident took place during an educational visit of a high school from Argyroupoli, to the Parliament.

The minor was arrested when the knife was found during security inspection.

At some point in the screening process, when a 14-year-old student walks by, a police officer realizes that the child is carrying a knife.

Upon hearing this news, the shock for both the teachers accompanying the children and the parents of the 14-year-old was very great.

As the children arrived at the Parliament grounds the teachers started lining them up to enter, after first passing through the X-ray machines.
