Greek former-Royal Family: Prince Nikolaos & Tatiana Blatnik file for divorce after 14 years of marriage

Prince Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik have put an end to their marriage, after 14 years of shared journey, as announced by the Greek former-Royal Family through a concise statement.

The announcement:

“Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana have decided to proceed with the dissolution of their marriage after fourteen years of shared life. Both express the difficulty of this decision, the deep appreciation and respect they hold for each other, as well as the love that guided them throughout these years.

The same values of respect and understanding will be the basis of their relationship in the future, a relationship of deep and sincere friendship. They will continue to live and be active in Greece, the place where they both feel at home.

The Family will always stand by their side.

Tatiana Blatnik met Nikolaos in 2003 in Gstaad, Switzerland. They developed a relationship, and on December 28, 2009, their engagement was officially announced by the office of the former King Constantine in London.

The couple got married on August 25, 2010, in Spetses, with the presence of many members of European royal families.
