Greek Minister for Citizen Protection interrupts speech after feeling ill (video)

He was rushed to the Parliament dispensary

The Greek Minister for Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos was rushed to the Parliament dispensary while delivering a speech from the podium on Tuesday.

During his speech, Theodorikakos felt unwell and asked the House chair to stop his speech and be dismissed. Immediately after, he headed to the ministerial seats and was then taken to the Parliament’s doctor’s office.

It is noted that while Mr. Theodorikakos was in the entrance hall of the Plenary, SYRIZA MP Pavlos Polakis approached him asking if he needed any help. According to reports, Mr. Theodorikakos remained for an hour at the doctor’s office where he underwent the necessary tests.

The doctors advised him to rest and immediately after that, the minister left for his home. In a conversation he had with journalists, he said that he is suffering from a virus while the PCR tests he underwent were negative.
