Greek police arrest 3 foreigners and seize 4kg of heroin in Athens (video-photos)

Greek police seized almost 4 kilos of heroin, methamphetamine, and illegal money in two apartments in the neighbourhood of Kypseli in Athens on Thursday.

In a sting operation, men of the Narcotics Unit arrested three foreigners, aged 25, 32, and 38 for violations of the Law on Addictive Substances.

According to a statement released by EL.AS, police officers utilised intelligence that led them to the drug storage area and the subsequent arrest of the 3 alien drug traffickers who were pushing quantities of crystalline methamphetamine, heroin, and ECSTASY tablets.

Following a raid and search in two apartments in Kypseli, law enforcement agents found in the first apartment quantities of heroin and in the second, a fully equipped laboratory for the conversion of methamphetamine from liquid to solid (crystalline) and quantities of methamphetamine and heroin.

According to EL.AS police found and seized in total: Heroin weighing 3 kg and 763.8 grams, 4,200 ECSTASY tablets, crystalline methamphetamine in liquid form of net weight 2,630 g, crystalline methamphetamine 70 g, methamphetamine 285 g, 485 euros, 4 precision electronic scales, 5 mobile devices, 10 containers with liquid of unknown chemical composition, drug laboratory equipment, and a car.
