In first place for the second consecutive week is AEK, as they easily won 3-1 away against Lamia

The situation at the top remained unchanged after the completion of the 24th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League 1.

In first place for the second consecutive week is AEK, as they easily won 3-1 away against Lamia.

AEK, with goals from Vida, Eliaeson, and Tsuber, secured the victory against the 6th team which played without Karlitos, Martinez, and Tsiloulis.

There was quite a stir regarding the latter, especially after the game when Lamia’s coach Leonidas Vokolos revealed that he didn’t play because the day before, he announced to the team that he signed with AEK.

Matias Almeyda’s team reached 55 points and aims to finish in first place in the regular season.

PAOK remained at -1 and although they fell behind in the score from a great goal by Chatzitheodoridis in Agrinio, they managed to defeat Panetolikos 3-1 with Konstantelias, Sastre, and Zivkovic scoring the goals.

Moreover, the Serbian player placed the ball under his shirt to show that he is expecting a child and dedicated the goal to them!

Panathinaikos dropped to third place. Fatić Terim’s team settled for a 1-1 draw with Kifisia, remaining 3 points behind the top and 2 points behind PAOK.

They took the lead with Palacios (37′), but Arau equalized (own goal) in the 68th minute while PAO played with 10 players since the 64th minute due to Schenkfeldt’s red card.

PAO stumbled for the second consecutive match at home (previously drew 2-2 with Lamia), while Kifisia earned an important point but lost Botia, who reportedly broke his arm during the game.

Following this result, three teams are at the bottom of the standings with 17 points (Kifisia, PAS Giannina, Volos).

Olympiacos, playing at the empty Karaiskakis Stadium due to a punishment, struggled against Asteras Tripolis, who are fighting to enter the playoffs.

The team from Arcadia took the lead in the 45th minute with Yablonoski, and El Arabi had to enter the game to seal the deal.
