Guardian ponders Grexit as Moscow Times asks “What’s Next?”

The international press is eager to read the next chapter in Greece’s financial woes

The Guardian’s article, titled “Athens is Being Driven Closer to a Grexit”, focuses on the chances of it happening

The Guardian writes that a “trap door is slowly opening under Athens.” Refering to the Finns and a leaked report offering plans of a Greek exit and German obstinence concerning its intolerance of Greece reneging on its own borrowing.

The article states that Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis has days left to present Greece’s plan to its international creditors and two weeks to come up with a way to get cash to repay loans. The article refers to “contradictory statements” concerning the sale of state-owned assets.

While many analysts still doubt that a Grexit would occur, the Guardian writes that “the exit seems to edge ever wider.”
