Instalment to IMF worth 200 mln euros to be paid May 6, not Friday!

IMF dismisses Grexit

Greece’s next payment to the International Monetary Fund, totaling some 200 million euros in interest payments, is due on May 6 instead of May 1, due to the May Day holiday in the country, an IMF spokesman said on Thursday.

“The Greek government has been clear that it wants to stay in the eurozone, and will take the necessary actions to prevent exit,” IMF spokesman Gerry Rice told reporters.
