Inbound flights from Barcelona, Catalonia suspended as of August 31 due to rise in Covid-19 cases

Visitors from Netherlands will not be obliged to have negative test

Inbound flights from Barcelona and Catalonia to Greece will suspended from August 31st, following a spike of Covid-19 cases in those areas, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias announced during a press briefing Friday. The obligation for a negative Covid-19 test from visitors from the Netherlands is suspended, due to the improvement of the epidemiological data of the country.

As the Minister stressed, the sampling control of those entering from abroad will be extended until 15/9. Specifically, until September 19, precautionary checks will be carried out on passengers on flights from Sweden, Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, UAE, Malta, Albania, Northern Macedonia and Spain.
