An opinion poll conducted by Interview company for Vergina TV showed a 3.1% lead of main opposition SYRIZA over main ruling coalition partner New Democracy.

According to the poll’s results on vote intention, 28.3% of the respondents said they were likely to vote for SYRIZA, followed by New Democracy with 25.2%, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 5.5%, PASOK with 4.7%, “To Potami” with 4.5% each and far-right Golden Dawn with 4.3%.

It should also be noted that, asked which party leaded they consider more suitable for the position of Prime Minister, 38% of the respondents said they would prefer Antonis Samaras and 27% said they think Tsipras is more suitable.
