Italy will hold snap elections on September 25th, after Mario Draghi resigned as the country’s Prime Minister which led to the dissolution of the Parliament.
Draghi stepped down on Thursday following the decision by the three parties backing his government to withdraw their support by abstaining from a confidence vote. Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella accepted Draghi’s resignation on Thursday.
