Miltos Tendoglou will be rewarded with the sum of $40,000 by the World Athletics Federation for his gold medal in Scotland.

World Athletics will award $2,464,000 million in prize money to those who place in the top six of the finals of all events at the World Indoor Championships.

Specifically, the world champion and world champion in each event will receive a prize of $40,000 while the runner-up in each final will receive $20,000 and those who win bronze will receive $10,000.

Meanwhile, anyone who finishes fourth will receive $8,000, fifth place $6,000 and sixth place $4,000.
