Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis gave an interview to journalist Giorgos Kouvaras and to the main news bulletin of ERT tonight.

Among other things, the prime minister spoke about the stakes of the elections and responded to the criticism of the official opposition – namely, Alexis Tsipras, who has raised the tones of the political confrontation.

Mr. Mitsotakis stated that he is confident of having absolute parliamentary majority in the second ballot and reiterated that he does not believe in election system of simple proportionality. He also underlined that Alexis Tsipras will try to challenge the election result.
