Key updates include adding offenses as disciplinary misdemeanors according to the new Criminal Code, mandatorily placing police officers under investigation for serious crimes, and immediate dismissal for those  who have convicted felonies or serious violations. Additionally, administrative investigations for minor issues will be reduced, and time limits for repeating disciplinary proceedings extended. The new decree will undergo a legality review by the Council of State.
