The Photography Museum of Thessaloniki continues its specials on different photography genres, this time with an exhibition of beautiful images from Mount Athos, known as the ‘Holy Mountain’, in Chalkidiki, Macedonia. In collaboration with the “Mount Athos Club” they are holding an event in the framework of the series ‘Words and Images’ , on occasion of the exhibition ‘Mount Athos: in the image of the photographic look’. Four foreign photographers, Valery Bliznyuk (Russia), Ali Borovali (Turkey), Zbigniew Kosc (Poland) and Zoran Purger (Serbia) who captured images from the ‘Holy mountain’ will explain their personal experiences and why they decided to set up the exhibition. The work of the exhibition will be on display an 109 Egnatia street in Thessaloniki, from September 15 to January 29 2016.
