NBA star Kevin Durant visits Monaco-Olympiakos Euroleague game

The Reds lead the series 2-1

Double NBA champion Kevin Durant was present at the Euroleague’s 4th quarter-final match on Friday evening in France between Monaco and Olympiakos. A few days after his elimination in the play-offs with Brooklyn, Kevin Durant watched the match after the invitation of his ex-teammate at the Nets, Mike James. The double Olympic champion went to the Gaston-Médecin room for the first time on Friday morning.

“KD” and the Monegasque star played together in the NBA finals last season. They had been eliminated by future champion Milwaukee Bucks in the conference semifinals. According to Mo Smith, a friend of James, Durant had even pushed for Brooklyn to sign him, when he was in a dispute with CSKA Moscow.

Olympiakos and Monaco are tied in the series 2-2 after the French came out on top last night (78-77).
