Easter Weather: With strong winds, temperature fluctuations & showers expected until Sunday

With wind, dust & rain expected until Easter Sunday – Rainy weather in the west and north on Good Friday

Today, on Holy Tuesday, a noticeable change in weather is apparent with strong winds, cloudiness, and temperatures ranging from 14 to 25 degrees Celsius in Attica.

In the Dodecanese, the Ionian Islands, and the southern part of the islands in the eastern Aegean, generally, the weather will be clear.

A few localized showers are expected in northern Crete, southern Euboea, and the northern Cyclades.

On Holy Wednesday, there may be some localized rainfall in northern Crete, while on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, local showers are expected in the northern parts of the country.

On Holy Saturday, temporary rain is very likely, or even temporary thunderstorms may occur in other southern regions.

Initial forecasts for Easter Sunday

According to the latest forecast data, it is predicted that the weather on Easter Sunday will improve again, although this does not mean that some very localized showers will not occur, mainly in the north or even in the mountainous mainland.

On Holy Wednesday and Holy Thursday, temperatures will rise slightly even reaching 28°C in the mainland, before dropping by 2-3 degrees on Holy Saturday.
