The Greek Parliament opened today with Nikitas Kaklamanis as President, since he is the oldest of the re-elected Presidents of Parliament and former President Zoi Konstantopoulou was not re-elected.

Today the new Members of Parliament sworn-in and tomorrow the Parliament will elect its new President.

The new Parliament consists of 70 MPs who are elected for the first time.

Tomorrow, Greek Parliament votes for the new President and Vice-Presidents of Parliament.
